Star of the dish


  1. Preheat the oven (electric: 180°C / hot air: 160°C)
  2. Mix the linseeds with 6 tbsp cold water in a bowl. Set the mixture aside, the linseeds will expand and replace the egg in these vegan brownies
  3. Melt the chocolate and the butter au-bain marie. Let this cool down to room temperature
  4. Mix the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and a dash of salt
  5. Stir the sugar through the chocolate
  6. Mix the linseeds, the vanilla extract and the almond milk through the chocolate mixture. Lightly stir the flour mixture through the chocolate mixture
  7. Pour the batter into the baking mould lined with baking paper and smoothe the top
  8. Bake the vegan brownies for about 25 minutes in the oven, or until the top is crispy
  9. Let the brownies cool down for a while and then remove them from the mould
  10. Enjoy!
